6.12 Configuring Roaming

To enable roaming on your ZyXEL device, click the WIRELESS link under ADVANCED
and then the Roaming tab. The screen appears as shown.

DESCRIPTION
Select Yes from the drop-down list box to enable roaming on the ZyXEL device if you
have two or more ZyXEL devices on the same subnet.
Note: All APs on the same subnet and the wireless stations must
have the same SSID to allow roaming.
Enter the port number to communicate roaming information between APs. The port
number must be the same on all APs. The default is 3517. Make sure this port is not
used by other services.
Click Apply to save your changes back to the ZyXEL device.
Click Reset to reload the previous configuration for this screen.
