8.3.1 Se tting yo ur NBG to AP Mo de
Log into the Web Configurator if you haven't already. See the Quick start Guide for instructions on how

to do this.
To use your NBG as an access point, switch the physical button which placed at the bottom of the NBG

to the middle place.
Note: You have to log in to the Web Configurator again when you change modes. As soon as
you do, your NBG is already in Access Point mode.
The Web Configurator refreshes once the change to Access Point mode is successful.

8.3.2 Ac c e ssing the We b C o nfig ura to r in Ac c e ss Po int Mo de
Log in to the Web Configurator in Access Point mode, do the following:
Connect your computer to the LAN port of the NBG.

The default IP address of the NBG is "192.168.1.2". In this case, your computer must have an IP address in

the range between "192.168.1.3" and "192.168.1.254".
Click

your computer's IP address. If your computer's IP address is not in the correct range then see
B on page 178
After you've set your computer's IP address, open a web browser such as Internet Explorer and enter

"192.168.1.2" as the web address in your web browser.
Note: After clicking Login, the Easy mode appears. Refer to
screens. Change to Expert mode to see the screens described in the sections following
this.
