Pull out the screwdriver.
This release the spring-loaded terminal and fasten the wire to the contact.

Ensure that the contact is firmly established.
Loose wiring can result in equipment faults or injury.

4.6 Electrical Connections for Motors
4.6.1 Connecting the Motor
INDUCED VOLTAGE
Induced voltage from output motor cables that run together can charge equipment capacitors, even with
the equipment turned off and locked out/tagged out. Failure to run output motor cables separately, or to use
shielded cables, could result in death or serious injury.
Run output motor cables separately or use shielded cables.

Simultaneously lock out/tag out all the drives.
l
MOTOR PROTECTION
Protection against motor overload is not included in the factory setting. If this function is required, set parameter 1–90 Motor
Thermal Protection to trip or warning.
