for extensive use and travel. Follow these guidelines to
maintain the condition and performance of your computer.
Immediately turn off and unplug the NEC Versa
2600 under the following conditions:

The power cord is damaged or frayed.

Liquid spills on or into the NEC Versa.
T
Someone drops the system or damages the
cabinet.

Precautions

Follow these precautions when using your NEC Versa 2600
and AC adapter.

Always plug the AC adapter cord into an easily acces-
sible outlet. It is important to be able to easily discon-
nect power to the computer by unplugging the AC
adapter.

Avoid dropping or bumping the computer or the AC
adapter.

Do not stack heavy objects on the computer, the AC
adapter, or the battery pack.
