Using DOS Programs
USING POWER MANAGEMENT IN DOS MODE
If you run a program or application using a boot diskette,
power management features normally initiated from the
hard disk drive at boot up are bypassed. You can enable
power management features in MS-DOS. To enable power
management and change the diskette start-up files when
running programs from diskette, follow the instructions
given here for your operating system.
NOTE
MS-DOS programs, follow these instructions for
each boot diskette you use.
Windows for Workgroups
Modify the diskette start-up files for Windows for
Workgroups systems as follows:
1.
With your system already turned on, insert the boot
diskette for the program into the diskette drive.
2.
Go to MS-DOS. At the C: prompt type the following
