Follow these steps to connect an external keyboard or
mouse to your system.
Power off the NEC Versa.
1.
Make sure the NEC Versa is powered off whenever
you add or remove the keyboard or external mouse.
Doing so while in Operating mode can damage the
keyboard controller chip.
Connect the keyboard or mouse cable connector to the

keyboard or mouse port on the system.
Power on the NEC Versa to resume operation.
3.
The system immediately recognizes the keyboard or mouse.
