Please Note!
CAUTION – Danger of scalding from hot
steam and hot condensation!
■
Never use the steaming attachment
without the associated lid!
■
Note that hot steam will escape from
the side and top of the lid of the
steaming attachment during opera-
tion.
■
Only hold the steaming attachment
using its two handles.
■
Be careful when handling the steam-
ing attachment! Hot water may accu-
mulate in the intermediate base and
steaming attachment. Be careful when
removing these parts!
■
When you remove the lid of the
steaming attachment, always tilt it
forwards slightly so that the steam
can escape at the back and you do
not come into contact with the rising
steam or the dripping hot liquid.
■
After you remove the hot steaming
attachment from the mixing bowl,
place it down on a moisture-resistant
and heat-resistant surface.
1. Set up the main device (14) (see the
"Setting Up the Device" chapter).
2. Pour water into the mixing bowl, at
least up to the bottom marking, for
a cooking time of 30 minutes. For a
longer cooking time, the amount of
water required increases by 250 ml for
every 15 minutes. However, do not
exceed the max marking.
L
To add flavour to the food, stock
or a water/wine mixture for exam-
ple may also be used instead of
water.
3. Place the mixing bowl in the main de-
vice and attach the steaming attach-
ment (see the "Inserting / Removing
Accessories" chapter – "Lid and
Steaming Attachment").

4. Loosely add the food you want. When
you do this, make sure that some slots
remain clear so that steam can rise
up. Insert the intermediate base if
necessary.
5. Close the steaming attachment with
its lid (19).
6. Switch on the device and select the
"Steaming" programme (31).
Adjust the settings if necessary.
7. When the food is cooked, twist the
steaming attachment anticlockwise a
little, lift it up and wait a few seconds
until the steam has condensed and
dripped into the mixing bowl before
it is placed down on a heat-resistant
surface.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!
■
The main device, the mixing bowl
and the drive shaft are not dishwash-
er-safe.
■
Do not immerse the mixing bowl in
water or other liquids! No liquid must
get into the base of the mixing bowl
as this is where contacts and other
electronic components are fitted.
■
Do not leave the cross-blade insert
and the cutting attachment lying in
water or other liquids for longer than
two hours to avoid damage.
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents or cleaning pads to
clean the device. They may damage
the surfaces.
L
If the mixing bowl (15) and cross-
blade insert (5) are only slightly
dirty, it is sufficient to clean them
briefly by mixing with water. To do
this, add 1 litre of water and a few
drops of detergent to the mixing
bowl. Press the
button (33).
