into the ventilation openings of the

not become clogged.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to
Material and Property
■
Only connect the device to a plug
socket that is properly installed. The
plug socket must also be readily
accessible after connection so that
the connection to the mains can
quickly be isolated. The mains voltage
must match the technical data of the
device.
■
Use only original accessories from the
manufacturer in order to guarantee
that there is no interference that may
prevent the device from working and
to avoid possible damage.
■
Inspect the device for damage each
time before you use it. The device
should only be used if it has been
fully assembled, is undamaged and in
working order!
■
The device may not be heated up
when it is empty. Do not allow the
motor to run when the device is
empty.
■
Switch off the device and pull the
mains plug out of the plug socket if
an error occurs during operation or
before a thunderstorm.
■
Always pull the mains plug and never
the mains cable to disconnect the
device from the mains power.
■
Protect the device from heat, naked
flames, direct sunlight, extreme tem-
peratures and impacts. Also protect
the main device from wet conditions
and persistent moisture.
■
Do not lay or place any heavy objects
on the device or the connecting
cable.

BEFORE INITIAL USE
Clean the accessories before you first
use them as they may have possible
production residues on them. To do this,
follow the instructions in "Cleaning and
Storage".
SETTING UP THE DEVICE
Please Note!
■
Never place the main device on a soft
surface. The ventilation openings on
the bottom must not be covered. The
device could otherwise be damaged
due to overheating.
■
Note that when chopping up food the
imbalance which is created in the mix-
ing bowl may cause the whole device
to move. The device should therefore
be set up so that it cannot fall off the
work surface.
■
Make sure that the connecting cable
is not squashed, bent or laid over
sharp edges and does not come into
contact with hot surfaces.
■
Lay the connecting cable in such a
way that it does not present a trip
hazard. The connecting cable may
not hang down from the surface on
which the device is placed in order to
prevent the device from being pulled
down.
Place the main device (14) on the kitchen
unit or another work surface that is dry,
clean, flat and is not heated. Please note:
•
It must be a sufficient distance away
from heat sources (e.g. hobs).
•
When steaming or cooking, there
should also be plenty of clear space
above (towards wall-mounted
cupboards and shelves) in order to
prevent any possible damage to the
items from steam escaping.
•
Make sure that the suction feet (23)
stick to the work surface.
