Slide the power supply toward the front of the system unit to release the two tabs
at the top of the chassis and remove the power supply from the system unit.
Real-Time Clock Battery Removal
To remove the RTC battery from the system board, follow these steps.
Remove the top cover.

Cut the strap securing the RTC battery to the system board.

Using a small, flat-edged object (such as tweezers or the tip of a small, regular

screw driver), carefully remove the RTC battery from the socket on the system
board (see Figure Section 4-23). Gently use the flat object as a wedge to partially
remove the pins on one end of the battery; then repeat the procedure on the other
end until the battery pins are completely out of the socket.
