How to replace your iX-1

Install the meter
Turn the iX-1 on its back and
open the meter cover located
on the bottom of the system.

Insert the meter by
positioning it vertically, with
the contacts down facing to
the rear and the labels facing
towards you. Close the cover.

Connect the weighing platform
Plug the weighing platform
connector into the scale port
located on the back of the
iX-1.
Place the weighing platform
on top of the iX-1, then insert
the cable into the cable
management clips at back of
the system.

Connect the internet cable
Plug one end of the LAN cable
into the internet cable port
located on the back of the iX-1.
Plug the other end into a LAN
wall jack or Wifi router.

Connect the power cable
Plug the power cable connector
into the power adapter.
Plug the power adapter
connector into the back of the
iX-1.
Plug the other end of the
power cable into the wall outlet.
The system will power up
automatically.

Launch swap process
New base process is launched
automatically, follow the
screen prompts.

Install the cartridge
Open the front cover, then
open the cartridge slot by
pulling the blue lever towards
you and turning it to the right.
Insert the cartridge (c), then
turn the blue lever back to
the left until the cartridge is
secured, then close the cover.

Confirm cartridge installation
Follow the screen prompts to
confirm the replacement.

If you have trouble completing
a test print, unplug the system,

wait 10 seconds, power up and
try again.
If you cannot complete a test print after shut down and power
up, chat with a support specialist on Myquadient or contact us
for help at 0845 8800000.

Return the original unit
Prepare the box for shipping.
Arrange the collection via
My Quadient or by calling the
Withdrawals Team.
