Sparg plug dismantlement

(04_12, 04_13, 04_14, 04_15)
Check the spark plug according to the in-
dications in the periodic maintenance
chart.
Remove the spark plug regularly, clean
off carbon scales, and replace it if neces-
sary.
To access the spark plug remove the in-
04_12
spection cover as follow:
Lift up the saddle.
Remove the battery cover and
unscrew and remove the two at-
taching screws «2» from the
central inspection cover.
Lower the saddle.
Unscrew and remove the lower
central attaching screw «2».
Slide out the central inspecting
cover.
04_13 For removal and cleaning:
IMPORTANT
BEFORE CARRYING OUT THE FOL-
LOWING STEPS, ALLOW THE ENGINE
AND THE MUFFLER TO COOL DOWN
UNTIL THEY REACH ROOM TEMPER-
ATURE IN ORDER TO AVOID ANY
BURNS.

Depose de la bougie (04_12,

04_13, 04_14, 04_15)
Contrôler la bougie en fonction du ta-
bleau d'entretien programmé.
Démonter périodiquement la bougie, la
décalaminer, et si nécessaire la rempla-
cer.
Pour accéder à la bougie, retirer le cou-
vercle d'inspection de la manière suivan-
te:
Soulever la selle.
Retirer le couvre-batterie. Dé-
visser et enlever les deux vis de
fixation «2» de la trappe de visi-
te centrale.
Abaisser la selle.
Dévisser et enlever la vis de fi-
xation centrale inférieure «2».
Extraire la trappe de visite cen-
trale.
Pour la dépose et le nettoyage:
ATTENTION
AVANT D'EFFECTUER LES OPÉRA-
TIONS SUIVANTES, LAISSER RE-
FROIDIR LE MOTEUR ET LE POT
D'ÉCHAPPEMENT
QU'ILS AIENT ATTEINT LA TEMPÉRA-
TURE AMBIANTE, AFIN D'ÉVITER DE
POSSIBLES BRÛLURES.
