0.2 Safety measures that the user/fitter must take into account
The risk assessment carried out on Manusa automatic pedestrian doors has determined that the following additional
safety measures must be adopted by the owner of the door:

replacement.
• Keep the door surroundings clean and tidy.

• Do not allow unauthorised or malicious handling of the remote control.

• Manusa is not responsible for any damage arising from a failure to follow the instructions in this manual.
Danger: Do not connect the drive unit to a power supply before installation is complete.

0.3 Residual Risks
The principal aim of the design of the Manusa door has been to reduce possible risks, firstly by eliminating danger and
then by reducing risk. The following list has been adhered to in the given order:
• Intrinsic prevention and safety design.
• Protection measures for risks that cannot be eliminated by means of intrinsic prevention.
• Information measures on residual risks that cannot be sufficiently protected against.
• Additional measures and precautions.
After this design process, the door has a residual risk that has not been completely eliminated:
around the door. If there is a high percentage of children users for the door, it is
