9.6 Exterior key opening (optional)

The key allows for the door to be opened from the exterior, whatever the operating mode of the door, even in
"Closed"
mode. Turn the key for a few seconds and the door will open to provide access before closing again and return-
ing to the initial operating mode.
Note: Opening with no electricity supply is explained in Section "9.9 Information for emergency situations" of
this manual.
9.7 Emergency stop (optional)
Leaf movement can be detained using an Emergency Stop device. On activating the emergency stop, the leaves will stop
if they were moving and will remain motionless. To return to the initial mode of the door, simply unlock the emergency
stop button.
9.8 Doors with break-out function (optional)
Manusa
supplies different leaf models that include the break-out function. In the event of an emergency or where wider
access is specifically required, the leaves fold in the direction of evacuation when a force of less than 220 N is applied to
them. If the leaves were moving at the time of folding, they will stop immediately. To return to normal operating mode,
simple return the leaves to their original position.
The break-out function can be locked using hasps or a cylinder lock, depending on the type of door leaf.

Note: When the door is operating, the leaves must "NOT" be locked in order to allow access to pedestrians.
