5.1
Directions for Connecting the Shuttle Sampling Device
The Shuttle sampling device may be connected to any automatic milking system, provided the system
meets a number of preconditions. The following directions include the preconditions for correct sampling
using the Shuttle milk sampling device.
5.2
Preconditions
Precondition for taking successfully a milk sample:
A milking must be successful.

The previous milking of the cow has to be successful if it is within the first 12 hours of sampling.
•
There must be a period of 4 hours between the previous and the current milking to be allowed to take
a sample.
Minimum of 5 kg (11.02 lb) milk yield is required.

A colostrum cow is not sampled.

In T4C go to Your Guide.

In Your Guide go to tab Home.

In the field Lely T4C select Settings.

In the content tree select Settings > Milking > General Milking.
