Problem
Sample volume is too large.
The valve in the spoon is spilling.

Possible cause
Examine if the serrated frame is straight

(see Examine the Serrated Frame).
• The spoon is overfilled; milk is overflowing the
spoon.
Examine the period of milk delivery during

sampling.
Filler elbow pipe is too short.

Modify the volume of sample taken (see

Examine if the Float Chamber Contains the

The O-ring of the valve is worn.

Replace the O-ring.
•
The serrated frame is no longer in a level

position, causing the valve in the spoon to hit
the position plate and to open up.
