OPERATION

9.1

Start-Up

To start the refrigerator, follow these steps:
1.- Connect the power cable.
2.- Press the ON button. The display will show the actual chamber temperature.
3.- Let the unit reach operating temperature before loading it with any product. A 24 hours waiting
period is recommended to stabilise the temperature profile.
9.2

Product Loading Guidelines

When loading your Ultra-Low temperature equipment, be sure to follow these guidelines:
•
Distribute the load as evenly as possible.
•
Load the ultra freezer from a shelf on a shelf, starting with the top shelf.
•
After loading each shelf, allow the ultra freezer to recover to the desired set point before
loading the next shelf. Repeat this process until the freezer is fully charged.
•
For critical applications, make sure the alarm system is working and enabled before loading the
product.
•
It is recommended to keep the door open for the shortest possible time. We remind the user
that the security alarm is triggered 10 seconds after opening.

10 TEMPERATURE MONITORING

10.1

Set Point Control

Your unit has been factory set and tested to maintain a chamber temperature of -82°C. For most
applications, you will not need to change the temperature set point.
The chamber set point value is calculated according to the cut-off service parameters and a differential.
To adjust the set point:
1.- Access the service parameters as shown in item 8.6.
2.- Adjust the cut-off values and differential as necessary.
