Before leaving the factory, each unit has been tested, guaranteeing its quality. This equipment has been manufactured with recyclable materials, through a productive process that respects the environment.
  • Page 4 4. RECEIVING AND INSPECTING THE EQUIPMENT • All Infrico products are factory tested for performance and are free from defects when shipped. • When you recive your device, it should be carefully examined in order to detect any possible damage caused during delivery.
  • Page 5 5.2. Uncrating These Infrico units are shipped from the factory on a wooden pallet and packaged in a wooden container. The wooden is attached to the wooden base with the use of large screws. These should be first removed to avoid scratching the unit when lifting off the crate.
  • Page 6 NOTE: Infrico does not recommend laying the unit down on its front, side or back. However, you must be certain to allow the unit to remain in an upright position afterwards for at least 24 hours before plugging it in so that the compressor oil and refrigerant may settle.
  • Page 7 These models are supplied with adjustable legs. These must be adjusted until the unit keeps completely stable and levelled. NOTE: If the unit has to be placed on its back, make sure it stands upright for 24 hours before being powered up to assure oil return to compressor. Casters in lieu of legs are supplied as an optional accessory for all our models.
  • Page 8 It prevents us from the electrical risk of the device. NOTE: Infrico requires that a sole use circuit be dedicated for the unit. Failure to do so voids warranty. NOTE: The unit is designed to operate with a voltage fluctuation of 5% of the voltage indicated on the cabinet serial data plate.

WARNING!: Infrico will not warranty any units that are connected to an extension cord. 7. STARTUP PROCEDURE After the cabinet has been installed, levelled, cleaned and electrically connected in accordance with this manual, it is ready to operate.
  • Page 10 A shock chiller cycle, on the other hand, tends to reduce the ice microcrystals formation inside the freezed product. This microcrystal, when formed, affect the organoleptic properties of the food. Standard values for these cycles are the following: Blast Chillers Shock Freezing Initial product temperature 70°C (158˚F)
  • Page 11 At the end of the cycle a preservation phase is set, where the blast-chiller will reach and keep the preservation target temperature inside the chamber. The end of the cycle is indicated with an audible whistle. This units are equipped with a digital temperature controller located in the upper frontal panel. The controller is equipped with a very powerfull display, with 3 digits, decimal dots and signs.
