4 Intended use

The SafeLogic compact Sercos Gateway can only be operated in connection with
a SafeLogic compact system. The firmware version of the connected SafeLogic
compact CPUx has to have at least V2.0.0. The version of the configuration soft-
ware SafeLogic Designer has to be at least 1.4.0. The SafeLogic compact Sercos
Gateway supports Sercos in the third generation.
