4 Intended use

The SafeLogic compact Sercos Gateway can only be operated in connection with
a SafeLogic compact system. The firmware version of the connected SafeLogic
compact CPUx has to have at least V2.0.0. The version of the configuration
software SafeLogic Designer has to be at least 1.4.0. The SafeLogic compact
Sercos Gateway supports Sercos in the third generation.
