7.4.2. Checking Sent and Received Data
Check that correct data is sent and received.
With EtherNet/IP tag data links, the weight value displayed on the Indicator is checked
whether it can be switched between gross weight and net weight.
Refer to 2 Settings/operations of the FC400-EIP OPERATION MANUAL (18AUG2021) for
information on the gross and net weight displayed on the Indicator.
If you change the variable values on a Watch Tab Page when Sysmac Studio
is online with the CPU Unit, the devices connected to the Controller may
operate regardless of the operating mode of the CPU Unit.
Always ensure safety before you change the variable values on a Watch Tab
Page when Sysmac Studio is online with the CPU Unit.

With Sysmac Studio, select
Watch Tab Page from the View
Menu.

The Watch (Project)1 appears.

Click Input Name in the Name
Column and enter the following
variable names for monitoring.
Select the display format for
each of the variables.
Name: EIP002_Gross_Weight_IN
Display format: Decimal
Name: EIP002_Net_Weight_IN
Display format: Decimal
Name: EIP002_Status2_IN
Display format: Binary
Name: EIP002_Settings1_OUT
Display format: Binary
7．EtherNet/IP Connection Procedure
With the variable EIP002_Gross_Weight_IN, check the gross
weight.
With the variable EIP002_Net_Weight_IN, check the net weight.
With Bit 6 of the variable EIP002_Status2_IN, check that Main
Display of Indicator is either gross or net weight display.
With Bits 8 and 9 of the variable EIP002_Status2_IN, check the
decimal place of the weight value.
With Bit 5 of the variable EIP002_Settings1_Out, switch Main
Display to gross or net weight display.
