Static MAC Table

When you add a static MAC address, it permanently remains in the switch's address table, regardless of whether the device is
physically connected to the switch. This saves the switch from having to re‐learn a device's MAC address when the disconnected or
powered‐off device is active on the network again.
This table can associate with the Security field in Port Controls configuration to achieve the access control by source MAC / port /
VID binding. That is only ingress traffic with matched lookup (with specified MAC address, port number and VID) in this table can be
allowed to access to the switch.
The following parameters can be associated to setup the Static MAC table:
MAC Address: Static MAC address in a MAC entry
Port number: Switch port number to associate with the MAC address in a MAC entry
Vlan ID: If tag‐based (IEEE 802.1Q) VLANs are enabled, static MAC address can be associated with individual VLANs. Type the VID
in this field to associate with the MAC address.
Click Add to add a new entry. Click Delete to remove a specified entry.
The MAC entries in this table can be sorted by clicking the column NO / MAC / PORT / VID / TYPE.
