FAGOTING

Use these stitches to sew decorative stitches across an open seam.

1 Fagoting
1. Baste the two pieces of fabric onto thin paper or a water-
soluble stabilizer sheet.
1 Basting stitch
2 5/32" (0.4 cm)

3 Thin paper or stabilizer sheet

2. Attach presser foot J, center it on the paper between the
folded fabric edges and sew the fagoting.

Note
– Use thicker threads (#30).
– After sewing, remove the paper.
