OPERATION
Wi Voice receiving
[RIT] switch
If required, to compen-
sate
for
an
off
fre-
quency
or
frequency
drift,
activate
the
RIT
function.
[PREAMP/ATT] switch
Used when a receive signal is weak
or
when a
signal
is distorting.
According
to
receiving
condition,
activate the preamp or attenuator.

Connect
headphones,

[SQL] control
To mute noise when no
signal is received, rotate

blanker.
Basic voice receiving
Practical modes
1) Turn the [POWER] switch to the ON position.
~ LSB mode: For SSB mode operation on the 7 MHz
band and below, select "LSB."
2) Rotate the [AF] control clockwise to adjust the
— USB mode: For SSB mode operation on the 10
