■ MB-75 installation
The optional MB-75 flush mount kit is for mounting
the remote controller to a flat surface (less than 18
mm thick), such as an instrument panel.
1. Using the template on page 76, carefully cut a
hole in the instrument panel or wherever you plan
to mount the remote controller.
2. Slide the remote controller into the hole, as shown
to the right.
3. Attach the 2 bolts (5 × 8 mm) and spacers
supplied with the MB-75 to both sides of the
remote controller.
4. Attach the clamps on both sides of the remote
controller.
L Make sure that the clamps align parallel to the
transceiver's body.
5. Tighten the end bolts on the clamps (rotate
clockwise) so that the clamps firmly press against
the inside of the instrument control panel.
6. Tighten the locking nuts (rotate counterclockwise)
so that the remote controller is securely mounted
in position, as shown to the right.
7. Connect the remote control cable.
CONNECTIONS AND INSTALLATION
CAUTION: KEEP the transceiver and microphone
at least 1 meter away from your vessel's magnetic
navigation compass.
