Troubleshooting
The status indicator light is solid red in color:
ü The printer has an error and requires service before printing will continue.
ü Verify that media has been loaded in the printer properly.
ü Press the print button to attempt to clear the error.
ü Refer to Chapter 5 for information regarding the Enquiry Command to help identify
the error condition.
ü Cycle power to reset the printer.
The status indicator light is flashing amber in color:
ü This occurs when the printer detects that it is out or paper.
ü Install paper and try again.
ü Cycle power.
During download the status indicator light flashes red in color:
ü The file contains an illegal operation / command.
ü The graphic or font is not valid or has errors.
ü The intended memory slot is already occupied.
ü Verify that the printer is properly configured for the type of download being sent.
ü Clear memory and attempt download again.
ü Verify that the format has been created properly.
