1 Beschreibung
Der Einpunkt-Strömungswächter wird zur Strö mungs-
überwachung von flüssigen oder gasförmigen Medien
eingesetzt. Zusätzlich kann die Temperatur des
Mediums überwacht werden. Der Strömungswächter
besteht aus Messkopf (M) mit Flanschstecker (FC),
Kabel (C) und Auswerte elektronik (A) (Siehe Fig. 1).
Die folgenden Gerätemerkmale steigern die Zuver-
lässigkeit und erhöhen die Betriebssicherheit:
• Die Überwachung erfolgt - ohne mechanisch
bewegte Teile - nach dem kalorimetrischen
Prinzip.
• Der gewünschte Schaltpunkt ist stufenlos ein-
stellbar und wird mittels zwei LEDs (rot und grün)
signalisiert.
• Ein Trendausgang mit nicht-linearem Strömungs-
analogsignal 0/4 ... 20 mA steht ebenso zur
Verfügung.
• Mit einem Schalter kann auf schwach wärmelei-
tende Medien umgeschaltet werden (niedrigere
Heizleistung für Luft).
• Ein Messkreisstörungsrelais sichert die Draht-
bruchüberwachung und signalisiert einen
Aderbruch zwischen Messkopf und Auswerte-
elektronik.

1 Description
This Single Point Flow Monitor is designed to monitor
the flow of liquids and gases. Temperature monitoring
is optional. The system is made up of monitoring
head (M) with flange connector (FC), cable (C) and
control unit (A) (see fig. 1). Important operational
safety and reliability enhancing features designed
and built into these units include:
• Calorimetric flow monitoring, which avoids the
need for moving parts in the flow stream.
• The desired switch point is steplessly adjustable
and is clearly indi cated by two LEDs (red and
green).
• 0/4 ... 20 mA analogue trend output (non linear).
• Two sensitivity settings are provided, one for media
of normal thermal conductivity the other for media
with lower than normal thermal conductivity.
• An integral circuit indicates a wire break with
resultant loss of continuity between the monitoring
head and the control unit.
