Using the "Speechtime" options

You can individually limit the speaking time of a delegate.
If the "On" option button in the "Speechtime" box of the "Options"
window is selected (see "Selecting the conference options" on page 32),
the console is deactivated automatically on completion of the preset
speaking time.
If the "Off" option button is selected, a countdown starts, but the
console is not deactivated automatically on completion of the preset
speaking time. The console remains active and the countdown is
repeated in reverse ("countup") in order to display by how much the
max. speaking time is exceeded.
To set the max. speaking time:
Click one of the arrows in the "Max. speaking time" list box in the lower
part of the control palette.
You can set max. speaking times of between 1 and 100 minutes.
To start the countdown:
Click the "START SPEECHTIME" button.
The countdown starts. The green bar on the left of the "Max. speaking
time" list box turns gray one section at a time. The clock is displayed
and shows the countdown in seconds.
To temporarily interrupt the countdown:
Click the "HOLD" button.
The countdown is interrupted.
To continue the countdown:
Click the "CONTINUE" button.
The countdown continues.
To stop the countdown:
Click the "STOP SPEECHTIME" button.
The countdown is stopped. The clock and the "Max. speaking time" list
box are no longer displayed.
The system is now ready to start a new countdown.
