If you enter a *.wav file in the "Bell" box, it will be played each time
you click the "Bell" button (see "Triggering acoustic signals" on
page 62).
If you enter a *.wav file in the "Start" box, it will be played each time
you click the "Start" button (if you enter a *.wav file in the
"Speechtime" box, it will be played each time the preset max.
speaking time is reached (see "Using the "Speechtime" options" on

Configuring the protocol

To configure the protocol for the system events:
In the "Micro Logging" box on the "2" tab, click the desired option
button.
If you click the "On" option button, a microphone protocol file is
created automatically. Whenever a console is activated, the
microphone number, the name of the delegate and the date and time
are saved.
The
name
of
miclog_YYYY_MM_DD_XXXXXX.log (Y = year, M = month, D =
day, X = number). You can select the folder for saving this file under
"Path copy" or "Path data" (see below).
If you click the "Off" option button, the activation of the consoles is
not protocolled.
In the "Badge Logging" box on the "2" tab, click the desired option
button.
If you click the "On" option button, a chip card protocol file is created
automatically. The names of the delegates who inserted their chip
card into the chip card slot of their console are saved in this file.
The
name
of
miclog_YYYY_MM_DD_XXXXXX.log (Y = year, M = month, D =
day, X = number). You can select the folder for saving this file under
"Path copy" or "Path data" (see below).
If you click the "Off" option button, the insertion of a chip card into a
console is not protocolled.
To select the folder for saving the protocol files:
In the "Path data" box on the "1" tab, select the folder in which the
microphone protocol files, the chip card protocol files and the files with
the voting results are to be saved.
In the "Path copy" box on "1" tab, select the folder in which the safety
copies of these files are to be saved.
Note:
If you use several PCs (video, slave), it is absolutely necessary to ensure
that the same folder is set on the same network drive of all PCs
that this folder is shared so that other PCs can access it (refer to the
Windows Help for full details on sharing folders)
