BAdjusting Clutch Pedal
Proper clutch pedal
free travel
C Adjusting procedure
1. Stop the engine and remove the key.
2. Slightly depress the clutch pedal and measure free
travel at the top of pedal stroke.
3. If adjustment is needed, loosen the lock nut and turn
the turnbuckle to adjust the rod length within
acceptable limits.
4. Retighten the lock nut.
(1) Lock nut
(2) Turnbuckle
BAdjusting Brake Pedal
To avoid personal injury or death:
A Stop the engine and chock the wheels before
checking brake pedal.
20 to 30 mm on the pedal.
Proper brake pedal
keep the free travel in the right and
free travel
left brake pedals equal.
C Adjusting procedure
1. Release the parking brake.
2. Slightly depress the brake pedals and measure free
travel at top of pedal stroke.
3. If adjustment is needed, loosen the lock nut and turn
the brake rod to adjust the rod length within acceptable
limits.
4. Retighten the lock nut.
20 to 30 mm on the pedal
(A) "FREE TRAVEL"
(1) Brake pedal
(2) Length of brake rod
(3) Brake rod
(4) Lock nut
BAdjusting Parking Brake Lever
To avoid personal injury or death:
A Stop the engine and chock the wheels before
checking parking brake.
Proper parking brake
lever free travel
1. Raise the parking brake lever to the parking position
while counting the ratchet sound made by the parking
brake lever.
2. If adjustment is needed, loosen the lock nut and adjust
the parking brake rod length with in acceptable limit.
3. Retighten the lock nut.
(1) Parking brake lever
(2) Release button
(A) Free travel
2 notches (Ratchet sound 2)
(A) "PULL"
