Installing the Bagger Mounting
Brackets
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Upper mounting bracket
1 Lower mounting bracket
4
Carriage bolt (3/8 x 1-1/4 inches)
2 Carriage bolt (1/2 x 2–1/2 inches)
4 Flange nut (large flange–3/8 inch)
2 Flange nut (1/2 inch)
Procedure
Note: For 60- and 72-inch mowers, do not install the bolt
and flange nut for the left side of the lower mounting bracket.
This will be installed when installing the handle bracket in
the following procedure.
1. Install the lower mounting bracket to the machine
frame with 4 carriage bolts (3/8 x 1-1/4 inches) and
4 flange nuts (large flange–3/8 inch) as shown in
Figure 6.

2. Install the upper mounting bracket to the left and right
bumpers with 2 carriage bolts (1/2 x 2-1/2 inches) and
2 flange nuts (1/2 inch) as shown in

1 Handle assembly
1 Handle bracket
4 Carriage bolt (3/8 x 1-1/4 inches)
1 Clevis-pin spring
4 Flange nut (large flange–3/8 inch)
Procedure
1. Remove the clevis-pin spring from the bagger-arm
assembly (see
2. Install the handle assembly pin into the handle bracket
and connect them together with a carriage bolt (3/8 x
1-1/4 inches) and a flange nut (large flange–3/8 inch).
