CYCLONIC FILTER UNIT

The magnetic cyclonic filter is supplied as standard on the unit. Allows to detect the ferrous residues present in the system's water. Thanks
to the two valves it facilitates maintenance by cleaning the filter without having to empty the circuit.
Install the cyclonic filter on the system return connection using the pipes as shown in the figure below (Fig. 9).
The wall connection pipe must be installed so that it exits orthogonally from the plug-in housing of the cyclonic filter. It must not force
laterally.

Cleaning the filter
Check that the temperature of the system return water is not too hot otherwise take precautions to avoid burns.
1. Place a container under the emptying tap.
2. Switch off power to the appliance, close the tap upstream of the filter, open the drain valve of the hydraulic circuit and then close the
second interception valve.
3. Place the container under the filter to collect the water contained in it.
4. Remove the clip and pull out the magnetic cartridge by pulling it downwards.
5. Clean the cartridge with a clean cloth and under running water.
6. Put the magnetic cartridge back in place, making sure that the centring pins match and that the sealing O-ring is not damaged. If
necessary, replace it with a new one.
7. Lock the magnetic cartridge in place with the clip.
8. Open the two shut-off valves and restore power to the appliance to bring it back to normal operating conditions; at the same time
check the operating pressure of the appliance and, if necessary, restore it to a correct value.
