Connect the file clip and the lip clip to the measurement cable
and plug the measurement cable to the device.
Tap on the "Run File Clip check" button and follow the
instructions on the screen.
The results will be shown on the screen. Either ok -
"Error" will be shown on the screen.
Warning
Error message indicates that the accessories are not functioning
properly (e.g. cable breakage), or the contact area is dirty. Please
check the connections or change the file clip and try again.

6.8.4 Demo Mode
The built-in demo mode is available to become acquainted with the
device and to demonstrate its operation.
Disconnect the charger from the device, if connected, and turn
the device on.
Enter the Settings Menu and select the Demo Mode.
During the demo cycle the device operating sequence is shown
on the screen. It can be paused and resumed by tapping the
pause/play button on the screen. The demo cycles are
repeated automatically until interrupted by the operator.
To exit the demo mode, press the back
top left corner of the screen.
6.8.5 Sleep Mode
The Sleep Mode is a power saving state. The X-Smart
Locator will switch to a Sleep Mode when the device is in non-use
state. To adjust the time duration before entering the Sleep Mode,
adjust the slider position between 1 min to 5 min.
