5.2

Parameters

The freezing parameters can be accessed either via one of the "pen" (
on the Main Screen or via the "Edit" button on the list of programs (Section 5.3.2).
The pre-set parameters must be optimised for each sample and support film.
Typical settings for each parameter are explained and given in the respective
sections below as starting points for optimisation.

Environment Parameters

The "Environment" screen allows to change the parameters related to the
environmental chamber (temperature, relative humidity and window heater) and
the cryogen (temperature and GN

Chamber Temperature
"Chamber Temperature" displays the actual temperature in the environmental
chamber, the current set point, and the value saved in the currently selected
program which can differ from the current set point if the program has not been
saved after the last change (see Section 5.3.2 on saving programs).
Press "Chamber Temperature – Set" to change the current value on the key pad
(between 4.0 and 60.0 °C with 1.0 °C steps) and "OK" to confirm.
