Troubleshooting
8.1
About this Manual
This operating manual is intended to provide essential information about the proper
operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of this product throughout its service
life. Initial and subsequent users must be read and understand this manual before
using the EM GP2.
Do not hesitate to communicate any questions, comments, and feedback regarding
the content and quality of this manual to your sales representative. Inform your
sales representative if this manual is lost or damaged. Occasionally, be sure to
contact her/him to inquiry about new or updated versions of this manual. In some
cases, the instruction manual might be available electronically for download.
8.2
Warranty
The EM GP2 is covered by a warranty according to the sales conditions. If
functional errors should occur or if the components of the system sustain damage
that is subject to warranty coverage during the warranty period, the manufacturer
will repair or replace the faulty components following examination thereof.
The manufacturer's warranty covers the system in its original configuration. Only
original replacements parts may be used. The manufacturer accepts no liability for
damage caused by usage of other replacement parts.
The manufacturer will not accept liability for damage caused by misuse of the
system or its use for purposes other than the intended use, nor for damage caused
by work on the system that is not described in this manual.
8.3
Contacting Technical Service
During operation, you might encounter the warnings and errors listed in Section
8.4. These software messages are intended to guide the user in situations where
operational errors are likely and to indicate component malfunction. In some cases,
they can also be triggered by unintended user interaction. Refer to the list for
further information regarding their causes and possible solutions. Contact your
sales representative if you encounter any situation which is not described in this
manual. Contact Technical Service if the functioning of the machine (or the safety)
gets compromised due to component failure.
