REAR PANEL
Potentiometer which gives continuous adjustment of output signal
when the compressor circuit is not
in
operation.
The selector gives the choice between a direct output (output imped-
ance 50, matching impedance 1400) 0 to 1 0 V, or an attenuator out-
put, variable from 1 OOJJV to 1 0 V in 1 0 dB steps. The output imped-
ance in the attenuator mode
is
6000.
The output signal
is
fed from the oscillator section through this socket.
The socket accepts the standard 8
&
K plug JP 01 01.
A noiseless push button switch to interrupt the oscillator. The oscilla-
tor restarts when the button is released.
When the push button is depressed, a 1 00, 1000, or 10000 Hz refer-
ence signal, according to scale factor,
is
produced at the voltage se-
lected on the BFO ATIENUATOR and BFO OUTPUT VOLTAGE controls.
For connection of the signal from a regulating transducer when auto-
matic regulation of the BFO output is required. The input voltage must
be at least 0,5 V before the compressor has any influence.
Selects the time constant in the regulation circuit. Gives regulation
speeds between 3 and 1000 dB/s.
Logarithmic potentiometer for control of the output voltage of the in-
strument when compression is applied, to keep the voltage fed to COM-
PRESSOR INPUT constant.

0" corresponds to constant 0,5 V ap-
prox., and lesser numbers to progressively greater voltages.
