paper in the 2307 (QP 11 24 or QP 1143 for logarithmic sweeps and QP 11 02 for
linear sweeps).
5. Set the PAPER DRIVE FUNCTION on the 2307 to "Automatic Stop F", and then ad-
just
the
AUTOMATIC
STOP
wheel
until
the
2010 Nixie display
indicates
"0,0200 kHz" when the 2307 paper stops. (This must be done when driving the
paper forwards, as the frequency will not be correct if this adjustment is made in re-
verse.)
6. Move the 2307 paper (by disengaging it from the sprockets and then re-engaging it
in the correct position) so that the 20Hz line on the paper is lined up as well as pos-
sible with the pen. It may be possible to move the pen slightly in its mounting to
give a better alignment if necessary.
7. Rotate the PAPER ADJUSTMENT wheel on the 2307 forwards (mechanically or by
hand) until the Nixie display on the 2010 indicates "20,0000 kHz". At this point,
the pen should lie directly over the 20kHz line on the paper. If there is some discre-
pancy, check the synchronisation again, or refer to the 2307 Service Instruction
Manual.
8. Rotate the PAPER ADJUSTMENT wheel backwards past the 20Hz line on the paper
by about 5 mm and press the PAPER DRIVE "Start" button. The chart will move for-
wards and stop automatically at the starting point.
9. Select the required PAPER SPEED on the 2307 in "mm/s" or
"cm/s".

or "1 s" as required on the 201 0.
11. Select the required settings on the 2307 with the following controls:
POTENTIOMETER RANGE
RECTIFIER RESPONSE
LOWER LIMITING FREQUENCY
WRITING SPEED
and connect the RECORDER output socket on the 2010 to the INPUT socket on the
2307 via cable AO 0014
