3.7.6 Silencer assembly
Put high-temperature silicone (HT Sil-N) on the inside edge of the end caps (1, 4).
Wrap the sound-absorbing material (2) around the inner tube (1) and then position them in the
silencer body (3).
Wrap the sound-absorbing material (2) on the end cap (4) then position them in the silencer body
(3).
Fix the end caps on the body with 8 rivets respecting the references taken during disassembly.
Make sure that the end caps are fully inserted before fixing.
Wet the rivets with high-temperature silicone (HT Sil-N) before fastening and fix the end caps
(1, 4) on the body.
