3.5.2 Reed valve maintenance
Check the petals: they must be intact (the photo shows a typical break on worn petals).
Also check that the petals are not deformed: the petals should close the opening perfectly (left
side on the photo). In the right side of the photo, you can see deformed petals that remain
slightly raised.
If the previous checks are not passed or if routine maintenance is required, replace the petals.
