3. - Installation and Starting Up.
3.1. - Installation.
The ARGOS cigarette vendors are equipped with wheels for easier transport and
placing. With the aim of levelling the machine correctly, the levelling devices situated
on the lower front part of the machine must be adjusted.
IMPORTANT: The machine must be correctly levelled in a vertical position and must
be situated so that the supply cable plug would be access.
3.2. - Starting Up.
Put the product and price labels in place. For this purpose, the key board unit must
be opened and the four wing nuts loosened. The appearance of the machine will then
be as may be seen in the figure 3.0.1.
1.- Entrance product label.
2.- Gap for price label.
3.- LCD display control board, by means of a variable resistance, the contrast of the
characters in the LCD display can be adjusted.

The price labels are made up of fluorescent segments. In order to
indicate the desired price, the unused segments must be shaded
in black. There are two kinds of labels, as can be observed in the
figure on the left.
