    The system of part channels or multiple configuration (see fig. 1.05) can be adapted to all models of the Argos series. This system is adaptable to all door channels except for the first and doubles the number of extractors. 1.1.2.1. - Number of channels according to the configuration.

    1.1.2.3. - Identification of channels and buttons. The product channels for all machines are counted from left to right and up down, beginning with the door channelsand finishing with the case channels. In figure 1.04 you can see the number of channels of a ARGOS 21 with “SIMPLE” configuration.

    Communication with the coin mechanism X-10 and with the peripherals takes place under JOFEMAR protocol. By peripherals we understand the following: Display: Informs the control card when channels are pressed and shows the messages sent by the control card on the display.

    3. - Installation and Starting Up. 3.1. - Installation. The ARGOS cigarette vendors are equipped with wheels for easier transport and placing. With the aim of levelling the machine correctly, the levelling devices situated on the lower front part of the machine must be adjusted. IMPORTANT: The machine must be correctly levelled in a vertical position and must be situated so that the supply cable plug would be access.

    Place each product label on the relevant channel by introducing it through slot 1. The price label is placed in gap 2, as is indicated in the figure. The thickness of the labels should never be more than 0,3 mm. In order to start the machine, all you have to do is connect it to the supply and turn on the main switch (see figure 1.01).

    5.1. - Programming Codes. OP_0 PROGRAMMING PRICES. When the refund button is pressed, the following message appears on the display “PRESS CHANNEL TO CHANGE PRICE”. Press the according channel of whichever product column you wish to change the price of, and the CHANNEL No. and “CURRENT PRICE” appear on the screen. In order to modify the price, by pressing the following buttons, the following changes are achieved: - Button 1: increases the current price by multiples of 5.
  • Page 15 - “MONEY IN TUBES” The total amount of money currently in the tubes appears. - “DELETE PARTIALS” While in this option, if you press channel 1, the partial counts which may be consulted in this option are deleted. The display will flash for some moments to indicate that the count has been deleted.

    7. - Introduction to model X-10. The X-10 validation group is an integrated system made up of an electronic coin validator and a refund system for automatic vending machines with RS-485 protocol. It consists of a electronic coin validator model T11, a 5 routes coin separator and five self loading change tubes.
