8. - Diagnosing faults.

The following table is intended to help you rectify some of the most common faults in
the machine and the coin holder. It describes a series of abnormal functionings, their
possible causes and the steps you should follow to put them right or to determine as
far as possible the cause before contacting our technical service.
Problem
No sale from a column
that has product.
Price does not appear on
display when you press
some buttons and some
columns
with
product
appear as "product not
available".
Nothing appears on the
display; the escrow unit
or outer returner tube do
not respond.

Possible causes
Column marked as out of
order;
button
broken;
insufficient
change
machine.
Something
wrong
the
machine's
configuration.

communication wires are
wrongly set.

Steps to follow
Check that the light for
"product unavailable" is
in
working
and
product price appears on
the display when you
press the button and the
machine is not in credit.
If the price does not
appear, it means that
there is something wrong
with the button.
If
the
"product
available" light comes on,
check the fault in code
"_06" and in "_07" if the
machine has the clearing
option.
If
the
"product
available" light does not
come on it means that
the machine does not
have enough change to
make the sale. Try with
the exact price.

machine
appears correctly on the
display.
If it is not
correct, set the machine
type
correctly
programming code "08"..
Connect them correctly.
