START THE DISINFECTION CYCLE

1. On the control panel, verify the correct station is selected. If necessary, press STATION SELECT to choose
the station (A or B).
2. Press ID DATA.
3. Follow the prompts on the LCD screen to enter the ID data. Use the keypad to enter ID numbers, or if equipped
with a barcode scanner, scan the bar codes.
Enter all data required for the printed log. Each ID entry can contain up to ten digits.
a. "Scope" displays on the screen. Type the endoscope serial number, then press ENTER.
b. "Operator" displays on the screen. Type the operator ID number, then press ENTER.
c. "Patient" displays on the screen. Type the patient ID number, then press ENTER.
d. "Physician" displays on the screen. Type the physician ID number, then press ENTER.
4. Press START. The disinfection cycle begins.
Note: If the leak test option is enabled, there is a 40 second delay before the Flush phase
begins.
Note: During the detergent flush cycle, verify the endoscope connections and plugs are
properly connected:
1. Verify fluid flows through the channels.
2. Verify fluid flows from the distal end of the endoscope.
3. Verify there are no leaks at the channel fittings and adapters.
Caution! Do not open lid(s) during the disinfection process. Exposure to disinfectant vapor
can cause sensitization.
