RESISTANCE ACCURACY TEST
4-20. This test checks resistance measurement accuracy
for various combinations of
test signal frequency and test signal level. The resistance accuracy cheeks are made by
connecting a standard resistor to the instrument and comparing the measurement results
with the calibrated values of the standard.

PROCEDURE:
1. Set the 4277A's controls as follows:

2. Perform Open and Short zero offset adjustments as described in steps 1, 3, 6
and 7 of paragraph 4-15.
3. Connect the lOOf^ standard resistor directly to the UNKNOWN terminals as
shown in Figure 4-3 (a).
4. Set test frequency and TEST SIG LEVEL in accordance with Table 4-8.
Absolute values of the impedance readings should be within the test limits given
in the table.
5. Change the standard resistor to IkQ, lOkfi and lOOkfZ in that order, and verify
that the impedance readings are within the test limits given in Table 4-8.
