TEST FREQUENCY ACCURACY TEST

This test verifies that test signal frequencies for the 4277A meet the specified
frequency accuracy of 0.01%.

EQUIPMENT:
Frequency Counter .HP 5314A
BNC to BNC cable .HP 11170A
PROCEDURE:
1. Connect the frequency counter to the 4277A UNKNOWN

terminal as
shown in Figure 4-1.
2. Set the 4277A's controls as follows:
TEST SIG LEVEI..HIGH
DC BIAS switch.OFF
Test Frequency.lOkHz
Other controls.Any setting
3. Verify that the frequency reading on the 5314A is lO.OOOkHztlHz.
4. Set the test frequency in the sequence given in Table 4-2. Verify that the
frequency readings on the 5314A are within the test limits given in the table.
