Lubricate mechanical parts automatically

Procedure
Lubrication of the instrument can be performed by the Midwest
Automate Handpiece Maintenance System.
For further details and instructions, refer to the operating instruction
supplied with unit.
If another system is used, the maintenance equipment must be
approved by its manufacturer for the lubrication of dental handpieces.
CAUTION!  Risk of burns! Overlubrication of the instrument results in
overheating of the instrument head.

Lubricate mechanical parts manually

Interval
● After each patient
Required accessories
● Spray adapter
● O-ring for spray adapter
● Midwest® Plus Spray
Procedure
CAUTION!  Risk of injury! Use only Midwest® Plus Spray.
ü The spray adapter is disinfected.
ü The O-ring on the spray adapter is intact.
1. Fit the spray adapter onto the nozzle of the spray can.
2. Insert the instrument until it snaps into place and hold it.
3. Spray into the instrument for 1-2 seconds.
IMPORTANT: Hold the spray can upright.
4. Wipe away any spray that runs out with a clean, lint-free cloth.
5. Repeat the process until the spray that runs out is clear.
6. Purge the instrument with compressed air (3 bar) for 10 seconds.
CAUTION!  Risk of burns! Overlubrication of the instrument results in
overheating of the instrument head.
