Water spraying unit

Sweep

6.3.1

Sweeping mode

The device is equipped with a water spraying unit.
An electric water pump dispenses water from the fresh wa-
ter tank to an adjustable spray nozzle.
The water spraying unit is suitable for a variety of cleaning
tasks, especially for cleaning the waste water tank or de-
vice parts.
The water spraying unit is located at the rear of the vehicle.
CAUTION
Risk of damage!
Control elements, electrical and electronic components
must not be cleaned with the spraying unit.
The water spraying unit is activated via a function switch.
Press the function switch to switch on and off.
CAUTION
Risk of damage!
Do not sweep up packing strips, wire or similar objects
as this may choke up the suction canal.
Do not operate the brushes on the spot.
ATTENTION
To achieve an optimum cleaning result, the driving speed
should be adjusted to take specific situations into account.
During operation, the waste container should be emptied
at regular intervals.
ATTENTION
Make sure that the waste container flap is open.
Switch on the hydraulics.
Open the flap of the waste container, see chapter
"Opening/closing the flap of the waste container".
Set the cleaning mode function switch to "Sweeping".
Side brush lowers, suction turbine is switched on.
If necessary, adjust the brush contact pressure, see
Chapter "Adjust brush contact pressure".
Select the performance class (ECO or normal mode).
Release parking brake.
Begin sweeping.
In the meantime: Dedust the dust filter.
6.3.1.1
Cleaning the dust filter
Dedust the dust filter daily. Several times a day as well
when working in extremely contaminated areas.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage!
Never set the filter dedusting switch to continuous op-
eration.
Switch off the suction blower before dedusting.
For dedusting, press the filter dedusting switch 4 - 5
times for approx. 5 seconds (no continuous operation!).
