Recommended batteries, chargers

We recommend the use of our batteries and chargers; only
then a claim under warranty exists.
NOTICE
With the B 300 Bp Pack, the low-maintenance batteries
and charger are already installed.

Use of batteries and chargers of other
manufacturers
The use of other batteries and chargers is not recom-
mended and may only take place after consulting with
KÄRCHER customer service.
ATTENTION
Only if you use the batteries and chargers recommended
by Kärcher, a claim under warranty exists.
We recommend the following batteries/chargers for the
B 300 R I Bp.
Battery

Note
When using batteries of other manufacturers, the maxi-
mum battery dimensions must be observed.

battery)
The device requires a specially designed battery trough on
both sides of the vehicle.

Installing and connecting the batteries

Open the device hoods.
Remove the battery compartment support.
Fit the batteries into the battery holder.
Warning
Pay attention to correct poles.
Connect pole terminal (red cable) to positive pole (+).
Screw the connection lines onto the batteries.
Connect pole terminal to negative pole (-).
NOTICE
When removing the battery, make sure that the negative
pole lead is disconnected first. Check that the battery pole
and pole terminals are adequately protected with pole
grease.
NOTICE
Charge the batteries before commissioning the appliance.

Charging battery

DANGER
Risk of injury!
Comply with safety regulations on the handling of bat-
teries. Observe the directions provided by the manufac-
turer of the charger.
DANGER
Risk of injury!
Only put the charger into operation if the mains connec-
tion is free of damage. A damaged mains connection
must immediately be replaced by the manufacturer, the
customer service or a qualified person.

Charge the battery only with an appropriate charger.
NOTICE
The charger is controlled electronically and completes the
charging process automatically. All functions of the device
are automatically interrupted during the charging process.
NOTICE
When the batteries are charged, first remove the charger
from the mains and then disconnect it from the batteries.

Charging process with an external charger
1 Battery socket
2 Working connection
Open the device hoods.
Disconnect the battery plug from the machine and con-
nect it to the charger plug
Insert the mains plug of the charger into the socket and
switch on the charger. The charging process begins.
