General
In the General General section, verify the following information:
• Status – displays the connection status of the network. Status
• Connection Type – displays the type of connection interface. Connection Type
• Physical Address – displays the physical address of the network card Physical Address
used for the network.
• MTU MTU – displays the Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) indicating the
largest packet size permitted for internet transmissions:
– Automatic: sets the MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) at 1500. Automatic
– Automatic by DHCP: sets the MTU according to the DHCP Automatic by DHCP
