» Before starting any maintenance work switch the unit off and disconnect it from the power supply, release it and pro-
tect it from being switched on again.

» Check that the system is electrically dead, earth it and short circuit it.
» Insulate any adjacent electrically live components.
» Maintenance and repair may be performed only by electrical specialists.

» If any live components suffer damage, have them repaired immediately.

Maintenance work
 To avoid corrosion, depending on
the working environment, daily
grease the tool mounting after use,
or rub a lubricant such as WD-40
into it.
 Wipe down the housing with a
slightly damp cloth.
 The optical components such as the
lens and camera should be kept free
of oil, dust and fingerprints. Clean
them with a non-linting cloth to
which a little alcohol has been ap-
plied.
 Clean the screen with a commer-
cially-available glass cleaner and a
soft cloth.
1. Move the guided units to their re-
spective end positions.
2. Inspect the guides for the tower and
anti-rotation arm and grease them
as necessary.
» Use multi-purpose grease. Re-
commendation: LGEP 2/1 from
SKF.
 Check the calibration and check the
guides for play.
Check the electrical components (in-
cluding the power supply unit) for con-
formity to national regulations.
