1. In the measurement software, select or create the adapter/calibration mandrel that was inserted.

2. Press

3. Release the locking of the quick adjustment, move the tower and optical unit into position.
4. Use the infinite fine adjustment to move the camera to the position of the calibration edge of the adapter.
5. View the camera image on the panel PC; the X-value and Z-value must both lie on the calibration edge.
cs 6. Acknowledge the inserted adapter in the measurement software; the measured values will be displayed.
» The VG Basic is set up and calibration is complete.
» Measurements can be performed using the calibrated adapter.
